Q: What are fender braces? Why buy them?
A: Fender braces mount between the chassis bulkhead or the radiator core support and the fenders and serve to increase chassis stiffness for improved handling and performance. Some vehicles are already equipped with fender braces, however these braces are usually made of flimsy stamped steel and do not do an adequate job of reinforcing the chassis. Aftermarket fender braces feature improved designs that are both strong and light weight to significantly increase chassis stiffness while keeping weight to a bare minimum. In addition these high-performance braces look super trick and will always turn heads at car shows.
